Madalena Graça is currently touring as a guitarist with Isabel Varell, and is part of the band Toi et Moi as a bassist. She is working on a new guitar album and is collaborating with the artist Radioaisle on various experimental projects. In addition, she works daily as a studio musician and runs her own digital platform, where she offers customised studio recordings online. She also teaches at various music schools and is committed to the musical education of young talents.

A musician, composer and producer with a broad artistic spectrum.
Her musical career began with violin and piano lessons, later adding guitar, electric bass and double bass. From 2004 to 2009, she studied jazz double bass with Dieter Manderscheid at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. During her studies, she began her own project “soloworks” inspired by the soundworld of Stefano Scoddanibbio fused with modern electronic sounds.
Madalena works in various ensembles and projects and has collaborated with Toi et Moi, Julia Klomfass, Radioaisle, Bird on a Wire, Komparse, Isabel Varell, Doro Bohr, Ladyzoom, Lídia Martinez, Martin Weiss, Mike Ilano, Suzy Bartelt and The Baffled Mind, among others.
She worked on various theatre productions over time including ‘Hanneli Himmeli’ at the FFT Düsseldorf, “Grmpf” at the Schauspielhaus Cologne and ‘Song and Dance (and a good movie)’ by Claude Wampler.
She has also worked with the artist Philipp Artus on interdisciplinary art installations in which sound, image and space were closely intertwined.
